He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan P. Qua. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Qua and Rose Qua (Esposito) of Melrose; his close friend Lisa Gerow of Johnsonville; his daughters, Kristin M. Qua of Valley Falls and Caitlin A. Qua of Albany; his siblings, Leslie Sheldon of Brunswick, Kelley Wallace of Brunswick and Paul Qua of Johnsonville; and the mother of his children Debra Qua of Valley Falls. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions rather than flowers, at the request of the family, may be made to the Green Island Rod and Gun Club, 872 Melrose-Valley Falls Road, Schaghticoke, New York 12154 in memory of Brian M. Qua.
