She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Helen Golden; her brother Patrick McMahon; her son John Townsend; her significant other Richard; her children, Lorie Pawley (Steven), Charles Townsend and Stuart Townsend (Julie); and her siblings, Arthur McMahon (Elissa), Daniel McMahon, Kathaleen Brodeur (Ron), Richard Golden (Peg), Lorrene Schrieber, Peggy Golden and Paul Golden (Joni). She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
