She is survived by: her husband Joe Newton; her children, Marie Dunn, Michael Dunn and J. J. Newton; and her siblings, Floyd Staats (Julie), Angie Saalwaechter (Sam), Bernice Staats and Randy Staats. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home (226 Pearl St, Medina, NY 14103). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
