She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Mitchell and Iris Mitchell (Lakes); her husband Wesley Askew Sr.; and her grandsons, Jordon Askew and Marcus Garris.
She is survived by: her children, Burnessa Conner of Medina, Faye Garris of Buffalo, Tonya Delph (Jimmy) of Toledo, OH, Evonne Askew of Ypsilanti, MI, Stephanie Askew of Rochester, Carlos Lamar Garris of Rochester, Wesley of Medina and Brandon Askew of Medina. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of many friends.
