She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Fortunato and Emily Fortunato (Monacelli); her significant other William "Bill" Ames; her grandsons, Joseph Ames and Daniel Gang; and her brothers, Vincent (Susan), Louis Fortunato (Louise) and David Fortunato.
She is survived by: her children, William Ames (Cindy) and Susan Fuller (John); her grandchildren, William Ames, Megan Hermann (Nick) and Kaitlyn Gang (Evan Barnebey); her great grandchildren, William and Jacob Hermann; and her sister Paula Rubin (Charles). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
