She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Yates and Annabelle Yates (Cain); her husband Robert; her brother Robert Yates; and her children, Robert Eckerd of Lyndonville, Norman Eckerd of Lyndonville, Michael Eckerd of Medina, Jeffrey Yates (Kim) of Gasport, Laura Yates of Amherst, Vickie Patten, Julie Kaplan (Gary), Cindy Ackerman (Gregory) and Rebecca Chamalian (Ted). She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
