She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry John Nieman and Mildred Elizabeth Nieman (Herendeen). She is survived by: her husband Gordon W. Grimes; her children, Gordon, Jr. (Bonnie Ferris), Gary (Carlos Ramirez), Jeffery (Lauri) and Kenneth (Donna); her grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Brandon, Alexandrea, Victoria, Collin and Ryan; and her sister Linda Donohue (Bill Gilbert). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations in Joann's memory be made to Niagara Hospice- 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to the Yates Baptist Church.
