He is survived by: his wife Judy Johnson (May); and his children, James Johnson, Jr. (Pamela), Jean Johnson (Vivon Wenner), Jeffrey Johnson (Angela), Jennie Johnson, Jerrod Johnson and Joy Johnson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
