We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2024, at the age of 92, Ila Mae (Young) Sterling of Medina, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ila Mae leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. James Lloyd Sterling; and her granddaughter Karen Sterling. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Sterling (Lynne Weber), Dan Sterling (Ellen), Mark Sterling (Sidney) and Mike Sterling (Susan); and her sisters, Ann Ebbrecht, Claris Chitirkin, Marion Jorgensen (John) and Margie Meyers (Dave). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
