He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry H. Oberther and Margaret M. Oberther (Jones); his wife Susan M. Oberther; and his brother Earl Oberther. He is survived by: his children, Debra Hamilton (Michael) of Medina, Herbert Oberther, Jr. (Joette) of Medina, Dawn Petry (Timothy) of Medina, Tammy Chmylak (William) of Medina and Shaun Oberther (Stephanie) of Medina; his grandchildren, Travis (Ashley), Kevin Hamilton (Caitlin), Matthew Oberther (Lindsey Snyder), Shelbie Francis (Matthew), Baillie Oberther (Ben McPherson), Crystal Luckman (Tyler), Scott Petry (Serina), Tiffany Petry, Alison Boring (Bryer Boyce), Tyler Chmylak (Dianna Smith), Megan Boring, Faith Oberther and Emilee Oberther; and his siblings, Harriet Nashwenter (Jim) and Dennis Oberther (Sheila Doty). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
