She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elster, Sr. and Shirley Elster (Bellamy); her children, Elizabeth Shingleton, William Shingleton and Amanda Bloom; and her grandson Donald Banks, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Max Medrano; her children, Thomas Shingleton (Ronda Schreiber), John Shingleton (Christine) and Jennifer Shingleton (Greg); her siblings, Susan Cutshall (Tim), Valerie Elster, William G. Elster, Jr. (Donald Much) and Kim Brown (Eric); and her mother-in-law Teodora Huere. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
