With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Hellwig (Medina, New York), born in Ellicottville, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Emil and Lydia Witt Hellwig; his brother Adolph Hellwig; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Musall, Merle Draper, William Menz, Robert Fuller, Lavern "Bud" Fuller, Walter Paul Fuller, Shirley Hellwig, Marlene Hellwig, Edith Barb Draper, Doris Fuller, Patricia Fuller and Barbara Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hellwig (Fuller) of Medina; his children, Eric Hellwig (Sandra) of Medina and Karen Migliori (Rocco) of Rome, NY; his grandchildren, Adam Hellwig (Staceylyn Smith) of Lockport, Jason Hellwig (Kayleen Burns) of Lancaster, PA, Jalin Cooper (Emma Cloonan) of Pittsburgh, PA and Katherine Migliori (Ethan Siderine) of Rome, NY; his great grandchild Jace Cooper; his siblings, Irma Musall (Charles), Olga Cash (James) and Emil Hellwig (Marlene); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Menz (William). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
