He is survived by: his wife Carol G. O'Brien; his children, Donald T. O'Brien, Jr., Patrick M. O'Brien (Sarah), Kellie M. O'Brien (Kimberly LaMendola), Shannon C. O'Brien (Nicole) and Erin P. O'Brien (Rose Marie); his daughter-in-law Terry O'Brien; his grandchildren, Stephen, Amanda, Timothy, Jarrett, Brendan, Mackenzie, Alex, Devon, Jordan and Katherine "Kate"; and his siblings, Francis E. "Bud" O'Brien (Mary Ann) and A. Maureen Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
