It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernard Jefferson of Medford, New York, born in Bellport, New York, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Bernard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his daughters, Shawn and Leah; his grandson Captain Genis Guzman; and his brother William.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ruland Funeral Home (500 N Ocean Ave, Patchogue, NY 11772). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
