He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ward and Gertrude Ward; his parents-in-law, Howard and Mildred Howell; his grandson Bret Dudgeon; his sister Rosemary Williammee; and his son Daniel Thorp.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Howell; his children, Caminda Dudgeon (Ted) of Cayuta, NY, Christopher Ward (Kathleen) of Mecklenburg, NY and Paul Thorp (Beth) of Ithaca, NY; his daughter-in-law Darlene Thorp of Whitney Point, NY; and his grandchildren, Sharon, Josh, Chris, Katie, Ryan, Ashlee, Matt, Samantha and Casey. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
