It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Coats of Mecklenburg, New York, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Coats and Barbara Coats. He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Shane (Holly) and Lauren (Cole); his brother Rick Heimes (Laurie); and his grandson Hunter Coats.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Peter's memory to the Mecklenburg Volunteer Fire Company and/or the Mecklenburg United Methodist Church.
