It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincent Fondano (Mechanicville, New York), who passed away on May 28, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Fondano and Angelina Castaldo Fondano; and his sister Michelena Conto. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Wixted Fondano; his children, BarbaraAnn Makinson (Lewis) of Loudonville, Peter Fondano (Lucia) of Lake Havasu, AZ, Michelle Itkowitz (Jay) of Brooklyn, NY and Paul Maratto (Jennifer) of Mechanicville; his grandchildren, Brooke Pike Williams (Elliot), Ryan Makinson, Justine Makinson, Nicholas Fondano (Kaitlyn), Peter J. Fondano, Ester, Eli, Hanni Itkowitz and Joseph Maratto; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Alma Pike Williams; and his siblings, Joseph Fondano (Catherine) and Angie Fondano Haines (Ray). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
