He was predeceased by: his brothers, Anthony Ricciardone and Marco Ricciardone. He is survived by: his parents, Marco Ricciardone and Theresa Fava Ricciardone; his wife Anna Lucarelli Ricciardone; and his children, Salvadore Ricciardone Jr (Cathy) of Flemington, NJ, Peter Ricciardone (Jeanette) of Clifton Park, Carol Piroli (John) of Saratoga Springs, Marlene Peluso (Ralph) of Malta and James Ricciardone (Melissa Rovella) of Malta. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
