He is survived by: his children, Linda Hall of Pa, Karen Filkins (Kim) of Tx, Kimberly Hayes (Robert) of Clifton Park and Ronald V. Filkins (Colleen) of Niskayuna; and his siblings, Alice VanVranken, Kathryn Strope, Patricia Filkins, Theresa Chartier, Mary Lou Filkins, Joseph (Estelle), Robert (Rosemary), Richard and James Filkins (Cindy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
