She was predeceased by: her husband Richard K. Capen; her parents, David Johnson and Irene Rose Johnson; her sister Jacqueline; and her brother-in-law Vincent Morrell.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Capen Jr. (Rita Horton) and Scott M. Capen; and her brother David Johnson (Terry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mechanicville United Methodist Church (7 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the United Methodist Church, in memory of Nancy E. Capen.
