He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Emmett Chauvin and Lucille Carmody Chauvin; and his sister Dr. Carol Fortier. He is survived by: his wife Bettina Izzo Chauvin; his sister Margaret Rinehart (Peggy) of Costa Mesa, CA; his children, Martin Chauvin (Barbara) of Halfmoon, NY, Patricia Chauvin of Hyde Park, NY, Laura Chauvin (Dean Wiggs) of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Caroline Chauvin (Richard White) of Ballston Lake, NY and Ann Marie Chauvin (Chris Wiggs) of Arlington, VA; and his grandchildren, Daniel Chauvin (Rebecca), Justin Wiggs (Nicole), Kevin Chauvin, Matthew Berninger, Emily White (Christopher) and Jessica Wiggs. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
