He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Red" and Ann Curran Rose; his brothers, Douglas Rose and Michael Rose; and his nephew Douglas Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Phinney Rose; his children, Regan (Dwayne Anderson) of Saratoga Springs and Matthew Rose; his granddaughters, Riley and Taylor Eveland; his sister Barbara Izzo (Butch); his sister-in-law Donna Rose; his nephews, Danny Izzo and Dave Rose; and his niece Amber Izzo.
