She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Nolan McGuire and William E. Higgins, Jr.; and her children, William E. III, Daniel J. and Kathleen Higgins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lucy Andriano, Kathleen Pennie, Margaret Tricozzi, John, Austin, Joseph, Thomas and Michael McGuire; her children, Mary Ellen Monahan (Michael) of Westtown, NY, Terence (Lori) of Mechanicville and David Higgins (Eileen) of Mechanicville; her daughter-in-law Barbara Higgins; her sister-in-law Liz McGuire; and her grandchildren, Joe, Karla Monahan, Katie Van Detta, Ryan Higgins and Marion. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc of NENY or Community Hospice.
