He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ahern and Angeline Izzo Ahern Sr.; and his siblings, Marjorie Scott, Lauren Russell and William "Chick" Ahern.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Thompson Ahern; his son-in-law Courtney (Scott Daigle); and his grandson Chase Daigle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
