He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryne Fisher Hmura and Thelma Brown Hmura; his wife Thelma; his brothers, John "Jack" and F. William Hmura; and his sister-in-law Mary Hmura.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Nelson of Stillwater, Michael Hmura (Lisa) of Nashville, TN., Joseph Hmura, III (Concetta) of Ballston Lake, Gerald "Jerry" Hmura of Saratoga Springs and Margaret "Peggy" McChesney (Eric) of Oakhurst, NJ.; his grandchildren, Patrick Nelson, Jr., Meaghan, Mark, Sydney, Lyndsey Hmura, Brooke and Bailee McChesney; and his sister-in-law Patricia Hmura.
Following Pandemic guidelines, social distancing and wearing of masks will be required.
