With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John P. Zakrzewski Sr. of Mechanicville, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on June 23, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zakrzewski and Irene Zakrzewski (Romanski); his grandchildren, Nicole Ratigan and Mark Goyette; and his siblings, Betty Linacre (John), Robert and Joe Zakrzewski.
He is survived by: his wife PeggyLou Zakrzewski of Mechanicville; his children, Patricia Goyette of Waterford and John Zakrzewski, Jr. (Laurel) of Tarpon Springs, FL; his stepson Jeff Foley (Jeanette) of Bartow, FL; his granddaughter Dara Tucker (Aaron) of Trinity, FL; his great grandchildren, Stella, Genevieve, Juliette Tucker, Rhianna Reynolds and Alexander Ratigan; his sister Peggy Grubb (late Larry) of Clifton, NJ; and his niece Sharon Savaria. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
