She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim; her parents, Charles Reed and Hazel McCarthy (Jim Golden); her sisters, Phyllis Stevens and Elizabeth Grob; her son-in-law John Matthews; her daughters, Karen Bradley (David) and Christine Matthews (Andrew McAdoo); her granddaughters, Sarah Bradley Moore (Shane), Emily Doherty (Conor) and Rachel Bradley (Daniel McCullough); her great grandchildren, Matilda, Clark Moore, Killian and Wesley Doherty; her brother Peter McCarthy (Maureen); and her pet Protective Foundation. She was also cherished by cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
