He was predeceased by: his daughter Rachel Pfanner (Robert) of Niantic, Connecticut; his brother David Kamien of Springfield, Missouri; and his parents, Anna Silverman and Joseph Silverman. He is survived by: his significant other MaryAnn Bourgeois; his stepchildren, David Bourgeois (Anna) and Melissa Bourgeois; his nieces, Sarah, Julia and Judi; his grandchildren, McKenna, Ethan, Claire and Landon; and his son-in-law Robert Pfanner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any high school sports program.
