With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerald L. Rose Sr. (Mechanicville, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Rose and Blanche Stratton Rose; his wife Mary Jean Rose; his son Richard Rose; his grandson Jude Angelo Mastropietro; and his siblings, Henry, Bill, Donald Rose and Beverly Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda "Banjo" Mastropietro (Jude), Gerald Rose Jr., Kimberly Little (Chris), Dawn Zenio (Todd), Patricia Villano (Paul) and Victoria Erno (Keith); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer, Zachary, Sarah, Megan, Jay, Michael, Morgan, Matthew, Jeremy, Julieanne and Krista. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home (39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
