He was predeceased by: his father Charles Wachunas. He is survived by: his mother Ann Wachunas of Green Island; his wife Renee Thornton Wachunas; his stepmother Diane Wachunas; his children, Krystle Johnson (Mark), Randall William Alexander Wachunas, Christopher Springer (Ashley) and Nickolaus Springer; his grandchildren, Aliya, Kimaya, Skye and Nathan; and his siblings, Robert, Tamara, Thomas Wachunas and Darcy Kasianczuk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions which will be used to encourage the battle against addiction, may be sent to St. Luke's Resource Recovery Center, 40 McBride Rd, Mechanicville, NY 12118 in his memory.
