We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2019, Carmela Smialek (Mechanicville, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Covel "Chase" Pierce; and her brothers, Anthony, Michael and Vincent Mastropietro. She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Pierce of Clifton Park, Charlene Aaron (Douglas) of Corinth and Michael Smialek (Monica) of Latham; her grandchildren, Matthew Pierce (Megan), Michael Smialek (April), Christopher Aaron, Amy Pierce, Corey Smialek and Megan Smialek; her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Brooklyn and Peyton; and her brother Frank Mastropietro (Maria) of Kissimmee, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests.
