It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Spence Schroder of Mechanicville, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Spence and Lois Spence (Templer); her husband Donald Herman Schroder; her sister Lois Spence Morley; her brothers-in-law, David Schroder and William Schroder; and her nephew John C. Morley.
She is survived by: her son John Spence Schroder (Janice Wright) of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, Jessie Caroline, Jason Spence and Justin Wright Schroder of Apex, NC; her sisters-in-law, Mary Schroder of Valley Falls and Norine Schroder of Tucker, GA; and her pets, Gretchen, Eric, Genghis, Hanzel, Gretel and Lady Jane.
