She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Caponi and Adelina Lombardo Caponi; her husband Francis DeVito; her children, Frank and Tina Anne Yaksta, RN; and her siblings, John, Pasqualin, Armand, Anthony Caponi and Lena Patregnani.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Jo DeVito-Symons (Kerry Symons) of Vancouver; her grandchildren, Jessica Maimone (Scott) and Jarrod Yaksta; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Sophia, Jameson Maimone, Peyton Yaksta, Saphira Symons-Glegorio, Ruby and Ben Howell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws.
