Richard R. Race Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard R. Race of McGraw, New York, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Race; and his brother R. Andrew. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Neugebauer Race; his wife Patricia Masterson-Race; his children, Joseph Race (Tyree), Marleah Flanigan (Charles) and Patrick Race (Danielle); his siblings, Robert Race (Colleen), Charles Race (Ann), John Race (Kristen), Mary Durant (Bill), Nancy Dalley (Charles), Carla Shanahan (Michael) and Kathleen Lee (David); his grandchildren, Heath, Hugo, Josefene, Autumn and Juniper; and his former wife Sally Jo Crayton Race. He is also survived by aunts, an uncle, cousins, nephews, nieces, and a roster of many close friends.
