It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allis of McGraw, New York, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miner Allis and Doris Reynolds Allis; his grandson Keillan Allis; his sister Diane Abdallah; and his stepfather John Breeds.

He is survived by: his wife Janice "Johnnie" Allis; his children, Robert Allis (Pilar) of New Mexico, Patricia Smith (Cory) of McGraw, Susan Urban (Rick) of Homer and Kathleen Timmerman (Michael) of Cortland; his grandchildren, Jessica, Casey, Donovan, Thornton, Alex, Drew, Erik, Maria, Brody, Marissa, Michael, Morgan, Seth and Zoe; his sister Kay Birdsall (Rod) of Naples, FL; and his brother-in-law Burt Abdallah of McGraw. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
