It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merritt Seamans of McGraw, New York, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on January 2, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merritt Seamans to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Alexander and Julia Cummings Seamans; his daughter Sandra Seamans Curtis; his grandson Phillip Shepard; and his siblings, Harold Seamans, Helen Wakula, Alice Finton, Margaret Wakula and Frances Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Niver Seamans; his children, Gerry Seamans (Barb) and Sharon Stevens (Tim); his stepchildren, Jeffrey Shepard (Tami), Robin Mooney (Billy), Kathi Mauzy (Glenn) and Kristen Tomczyk (John); and his brother Bernard Seamans (Pete). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
