It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa J. Lakie of McGraw, New York, born in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Walter, Ada Homer Stevens, Jane Weddle Breeds Schuehler and Douglas Breeds; her stepgrandfather George Schuehler; her husband Brian Lakie; her daughters, Abigail, Olivia and Bailey Lakie; her mother Sue Breeds Stevens; her sisters, Heidi Turner (Bill) and Alison Finch (Lance Benjamin); and her nieces, Mallory, Claire, Ava Turner, Lucy and Emma Finch.
