He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Jean [Alcott] McGuinness; and his parents, John McGuinness and Voila McGuinness. He is survived by: his brother Michael McGuinness of Columbia, SC; his sister-in-law Marie McGuinness Springdale; and his children, Laura [James] Suchnicki of Westerly, RI and James T. McGuinness Jr. of Groton, NY. He is also survived by Grandchildren and [12] great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
