It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James L. Belknap of McGraw, New York, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Faye; his son Stephen; and his sisters, Joan Root and Jacqueline Cook. He is survived by: his children, James Belknap, Jr. (Mary), Lori Allen (Daniel), Valerie Hall (Burdette), Jean Swisher and Matthew Belknap (Lisa); and his sisters, June Paser and Jean Jacobi. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
