He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Santiago Cortez and Francis Cortez; his wife Marjorie Gower Cortez; his children, Paul Cortez of Cortland, Shaun Cortez (Amy) of McGraw and Kara Hapgood (Ben) of Homer; his siblings, Sandra O'Connor (John) of Connecticut, Santiago and Eddie Cortez of Utah; his grandchildren, Luke Cortez (Sara), Moriah Cortez (Jason), Kayla Cortez (Bradley), Treagan Cortez, Brenton Hapgood, Jaiden Cortez, Hannah Cortez, Kiara Hapgood, Destiny Cortez and Kayleb Cortez; and his great grandchild Kye Cortez.
