He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Jones and Thelma Burch Jones; and his sister Joyce Gill. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Meyers Jones; his children, Donald Jones, Jr. (Patty Curtin) of DeRuyter, Diane Eccleston of Cortland, Richard Jones (Christine) of Solon and Barbara Bloodgood (Michael Bush) of Homer; his grandchildren, Richelle Bloodgood, Matthew Eccleston, Lindsey Eccleston, Brittni Rosato and Brogan Jones; his great grandchildren, Brooklee, Levi, Anderson and Warren; and his brother-in-law Richard Meyers of Cicero.
