He is survived by: his children, Peter Frank Smith II of Brocton, NY, Rebecca Bean (Richard) of Olean, NY and Rochelle Bohm (James) of Bangor, ME; his grandchildren, Zephyr Smith, Denali Smith, Naomi Jensen (Zachary), Rachel Leamon (Joshua), Benjamin Bean (Crystal), Sarah Bean, Thaddeus Smith (Amber), Calista Johnson (Tom), Joshua Bohm and Joseph Bohm; and his siblings, Larry Smith (Marlene) of Honeoye, NY, Christopher Bemis (Marcie) of Stockton, NY, Mary Smith of Westfield, Margaret Kelwaski (Joe) of Sherman, NY, Ruth Frudd of Westfield, NY and Susan Hindman of Portland, NY. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freay Funeral Home (139 S Erie St, Mayville, NY 14757). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Dewittville Christian & Missionary Alliance Church (5821 Meadows Rd, Dewittville, NY 14728).
