With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Lewis Ecker Jr. (Mayville, New York), who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ecker Sr. and Beulah "Boots" Jarrell; and his siblings, Connie Hedlund, Wayne, Allen "Bud" and Jimmy Ecker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Peiffer Ecker; his sons, Lonny Ecker of Lakewood, NY, Lucas Ecker of Ashville, NY and Lewis Ecker of Ashville, NY; his stepsons, Todd Seiberg of Stedman, NY and Jason Seiberg (Vicki) of Stedman, NY; his grandchildren, Nick, Colin, Kayden, Eva, Matthew, Jackson "Buster", Ameilia and Lander; his great grandchild Carter; and his sisters, Denise Ecker of Sugar Grove, PA and Sue Sandstrom (Rich) of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care (20 W. Fairmount Ave, Lakewood, NY 14750) or to a veterans organization of choice.
