He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. McKane and Mildred Wiley McKane; his son Lawrence "Larry" V. McKane Jr.; and his brother Gary McKane. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Lupean McKane; his children, Cynthia McKane Summerford of Mayville, Dean McKane (Dawna) of Hartfield and John McKane (Debbie) of Mayville; his grandchildren, Christina McKane, Megan Gustafson Sawyer, Jonathan McKane (Amanda), Leslie Ann Stephenson (Zach), Amanda McKane, Mac McKane, Kasey Brown (Russ), Margaret McKane, Danielle, Adam McKane (Jessica), Dean McKane, Brie McKane, Shylee Summerford, Drake McKane, Dylan Hubbell, Derek Hubbell and Logan Hansen (Travis); his great grandchildren, Victoria McKane, Kennedy Johnson, Sky McKane, Kimber, Finnigan McKane, Nova, Jacob Sawyer, Addie, Carter Stephenson and Simone Olive; and his brothers, Mark McKane (Janice) and Dennis McKane (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
