He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Olson. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Keller Rink; and his brothers, Ronald Olson (Marlene) of Mayville, Jeffrey Olson (Dolores) of Mayville and Daniel Hanson of Mayville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
