He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Simonson and Sarah Bell Simonson; and his brothers, Richard, Raymond and Reuben Simonson.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Judson Simonson of Mayfield; his children, James Simonson (Lela), Cheryl Birdsall and Janet Fekete; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Beriswill, Jenna Clark, Joseph Fekete and Sara Birdsall.
