It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip A. Benware of Mayfield, New York, born in Tupper Lake, New York, who passed away on July 11, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo Benware and Gladys Dupuis Benware; and his siblings, Shirley Facteau, Nancy, Mary Benware, Gordon and Richard Benware.

He is survived by: his wife Denise Leroux Benware; his children, Julie Benware of Saratoga Springs and Timothy Benware of Broadalbin; his granddaughters, Ashley Watson of Ballston Lake, Amy Watson of Saratoga Springs and Amber Benware of Broadalbin; his great grandchildren, Maddox Brodsky and Ahri Whitehead; his siblings, Connie Amell of Saranac Lake, Linda McGivney (Daniel) of Warren, OH, Bruce Benware (Callie) of Fulton and Charles Benware (Deborah) of Tupper Lake; and his sister-in-law Margaret Benware of Tupper Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
