We bid farewell to Naioma Marie Andrest of Mayfield, New York, born in Tinmouth, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Naioma Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Howard and Marie Schwerdtfeger Howard; her husband William J. Andrest; her daughter MaryJo Pedrick; and her sister Alice Bruno.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Hatcher (Lonn) of Gloversville and Georgia Dutcher (Brad) of Mayfield; her sister Elaine Bibens of Poultrey, VT; her grandchildren, Evan Dutcher, Zach Hatcher, Haleigh Grubb (Stephen), Riley Pedrick, Trevor Hatcher (Tennesee) and Logan Pedrick; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Dustin, Spencer and Leyton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Halgas Funeral Home (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Department at Wilkinson RHCF, in care of the funeral home.
