It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Montanye (Mayfield, New York), who passed away on February 24, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wemple and Norma Olson Wemple; her spouse Sanford L. Montanye; her daughters, Susan Jean Montanye and Karen Lent; her siblings, Janis Dimick (Arthur) of Ghent, NY, Elwood Wemple of Mayfield, NY and Robert Wemple; and her sister-in-law Jean Morrison Wemple of Hurley, NY..
She is survived by: her son-in-law Joseph Lent; her grandchildren, Loren Lent (Theresa) of Glenville, NY and Christopher Lent (Shanna) of Richmond, VA; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Jenna, Ashley and Cayden Lent. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
