He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Krom and Ruth Krom (Baird); and his siblings, George Krom, Robert Krom, William Krom and Janet Spencer.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Krom (Whitman); and his children, Gregory Krom (Brian), Deborah Krom-Betler (Russell), Kevin Krom (Gavin), Karen Blake (Jeff) and Douglas Krom (Angela). He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
